Job Description

Fortunes Landing Motor Inn is seeking a skilled and organized Office Administrative Assistant to manage daily operations and support administrative functions at its Enderby, BC location. This full-time, permanent position requires on-site presence and offers a competitive hourly wage of $36.65 for 30 to 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating office procedures, managing communications, and providing customer service and clerical support. This role demands attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency in office software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee daily administrative operations
  • Plan, organize, and implement office procedures and routines
  • Open, distribute, and manage incoming correspondence and materials
  • Record and prepare minutes for meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Compile and analyze data, statistics, and reports
  • Maintain inventory and order office supplies
  • Arrange travel plans, itineraries, and reservations
  • Greet visitors and direct them appropriately
  • Set up and maintain manual and digital filing systems
  • Draft, proofread, and format correspondence and legal documents
  • Perform data entry and basic clerical tasks
  • Provide front-line customer service and support

Required Qualifications

  • Secondary school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 2 years of relevant administrative experience
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
