Job Description

Daeryun Law Firm is seeking a bilingual and culturally fluent Managing Secretary to support its Future Strategy Office. This full-time, on-site role involves cross-border coordination between Korea and China, with responsibilities spanning executive support, research, departmental oversight, and administrative reporting. The position includes travel between the two countries, with company housing or accommodations provided during business trips.

The successful candidate will manage the schedule of the Managing Attorney, conduct market and legal research, and facilitate interdepartmental communication. This role is ideal for Chinese nationals or Korean residents in China who are fluent in Korean and possess strong organizational and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the Managing Attorney’s Korea/China schedule
  • Conduct research on Chinese market trends, legal developments, and cultural insights
  • Monitor departmental workflows and prioritize tasks across teams
  • Draft meeting minutes and liaise with internal departments
  • Support management with sales summaries and clerical tasks
  • Perform duties both in Korea and China, with mobile work flexibility
  • Eligible for promotion to Assistant upon meeting internal criteria

Required Qualifications

  • Chinese national or Korean residing in China
  • Junior college graduate or higher (2–3 years)
  • Eligible for domestic employment under D-2, D-10, E-7, or equivalent visa
  • No disqualifications for E-7 visa status
  • Ability to work remotely across Korea and China

Preferred Attributes

  • Fluency in Korean (non-proficient applicants may still apply)
  • Experience working overseas or studying abroad
  • Prior work experience in Korea or with Chinese companies
  • Degree in business, law, or secretarial studies
  • Proficiency in MS Word and scheduling tools
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
