Job Description

As a Guest Services Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton in Kamloops, BC, you will oversee front desk operations, staff supervision, and client service delivery in a dynamic hospitality environment. Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to ensure service consistency
  • Recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff across multiple shifts
  • Conducting training sessions to maintain service standards and team performance
  • Negotiating facility usage with clients and managing event logistics
  • Performing front desk duties, including guest check-in, inquiries, and reservations
  • Addressing customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and discretion
  • Creating and executing business plans to support hotel operations and growth
  • Managing events and coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth execution

You will supervise between 1 to 4 staff members and work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. This is a full-time, on-site position offering $36.65 per hour for 35 hours per week, with shifts scheduled in the morning, evening, and across various time blocks. The role includes health and dental benefits and requires a post-secondary certificate or diploma (minimum 3 months) or equivalent experience, along with 1 to 2 years of relevant professional background
