- Serve as the primary visual and verbal representative of our brand by greeting all customers with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the final stage of the customer’s purchase by expertly wrapping or placing merchandise in bags for a polished presentation.
- Uphold our brand’s standards for a secure shopping environment by monitoring all entrances and exits and politely verifying proof of payment when necessary.
Digital Channel Management
- Operate and manage our primary digital sales channel: the cash register and point-of-sale system.
- Utilize our point-of-sale technology to accurately scan items and process various payment methods, including money, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
- Produce a daily digital performance report by accurately calculating and reconciling all payments received against total sales.
Influencer Marketing and Campaign Coordination
- Act as a key product influencer through strategic suggestive selling to enhance the customer’s shopping experience and introduce them to new products.
- Coordinate a positive and successful shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service from the moment a customer enters the store.
- Directly influence a safe and responsible shopping experience by verifying the age of customers for the sale of lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Global E-Commerce and Retail Support
- Provide the essential financial support for our entire retail operation by accurately receiving and processing payments for all goods and services.
- Serve as a critical line of defense for compliance, ensuring all legally regulated sales are conducted responsibly.
- Support the smooth and secure operation of the business by providing an attentive and detail-oriented presence on the sales floor.
Digital Advertising Development
- Develop compelling, one-on-one verbal “advertisements” for our products through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Create the final, itemized “advertisement” of a customer’s purchase by accurately tabulating their total bill.
- Craft a daily financial performance report that “advertises” the success of the shift’s sales activities.
Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate clearly and professionally in English to provide excellent customer service and process transactions smoothly.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a secure, friendly, and efficient retail environment for all customers.
Preferred Attributes
- Possession of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a customer-facing or retail role.
- A highly accurate individual with strong attention to detail.
