Job Description

Brand Content Strategy and Visual Production

  • Execute our in-store brand strategy by meticulously stocking shelves and maintaining a clean, professional counter area in our pet and hardware departments.
  • Serve as the primary visual and verbal representative of our brand by greeting all customers and participating in promotional activities.
  • Manage the final stage of the customer’s purchase by expertly wrapping or bagging merchandise for a polished presentation.
  • Uphold our brand’s standards for a secure shopping environment by monitoring all entrances and exits and politely verifying proof of payment when needed.

Digital Channel Management

  • Master and manage our suite of digital sales channels, including the electronic cash register and price scanners.
  • Operate our computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems to maintain the digital backbone of our stock.
  • Produce daily digital performance reports by accurately calculating and reconciling all payments received against total sales.

Influencer Marketing and Campaign Coordination

  • Act as a key product influencer by engaging in strategic suggestive selling to enhance the customer’s shopping experience.
  • Coordinate a seamless customer journey by providing exceptional service, from the initial greeting to assisting with self-checkout.
  • Directly influence customer satisfaction and loyalty through a reliable, dependable, and mature approach to service.

Global E-Commerce and Retail Support

  • Provide the essential financial support for our entire retail operation by processing all payments, including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
  • Serve as the operational engine in a fast-paced environment, working effectively under pressure to tabulate totals and receive payments.
  • Ensure the smooth flow of our retail business by providing accurate, detail-oriented support for all sales transactions.

Digital Advertising Development

  • Develop compelling, one-on-one verbal “advertisements” for our products through effective suggestive selling techniques.
  • Create the final, itemized “advertisement” of a customer’s purchase by accurately scanning items and tabulating their total bill.
  • Craft a daily financial performance report that “advertises” the success of the shift’s sales activities.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Utilize excellent oral communication skills in French to interact effectively with our clientele and build strong customer relationships.
  • Function as a flexible and reliable team player, collaborating with colleagues to ensure a positive and efficient store environment.

Preferred Attributes

  • Possession of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to less than 3 years of proven experience in a similar retail or customer service role.
  • Must be able to provide a clean criminal record check.
