Job Description

SaskIT is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations at its Regina location. This full-time, permanent role requires on-site presence and offers a dynamic schedule including mornings, weekends, and on-call availability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing office procedures, managing communications, and supporting senior management through administrative coordination. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills, basic bookkeeping knowledge, and proficiency in office software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce office policies and procedures
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and conferences
  • Record and prepare minutes for internal and external events
  • Respond to telephone and electronic inquiries professionally
  • Advise senior management on administrative matters
  • Maintain inventory and order office supplies
  • Draft, proofread, and format correspondence and reports
  • Provide front-line customer service and support
  • Perform basic bookkeeping and invoice tracking

Required Qualifications

  • Secondary school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Docs, QuickBooks, Adobe Photoshop, and social media platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bengali language skills considered an asset
