Job Description

KM Care Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support its internal operations and client-facing services at its Winnipeg office. This full-time, permanent position offers an hourly wage of $23.08 for 30 hours per week and requires on-site presence during morning shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating office procedures, managing communications, supporting staff relations, and maintaining accurate records. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with staff consultation and grievance documentation
  • Coordinate internal communications and workflow across teams
  • Record and prepare minutes for meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Respond to telephone and electronic inquiries professionally
  • Compile and analyze data, statistics, and reports
  • Order and manage office supplies and inventory
  • Conduct research and perform data entry
  • Provide customer service and basic bookkeeping support
  • Process applications, receipts, and other documentation
  • Prepare invoices, bank deposits, and formatted reports
  • Organize and schedule office tasks and maintain filing systems
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail and digital correspondence
  • Support document retention, labeling, and retrieval procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of administrative experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Docs/Drive, Adobe tools, and social media platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured office environment
