Job Description

Brand Content Strategy and Visual Production

• Assist in creating visually appealing displays of our wines and food products, ensuring the winery’s brand and story are beautifully represented.
• Prepare all merchandise for purchase, handling products with attention to detail to guarantee a high-quality customer experience.
• Physically manage inventory and displays within the retail setting, including handling heavy loads and cases of wine up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Digital Channel Management

• Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system, managing the primary digital channel for all customer sales.
• Process various payment methods including cash, cheque, credit card, and automatic debit with accuracy and efficiency.

Influencer Marketing and Campaign Coordination

• Act as a key brand ambassador, greeting guests and engaging them in discussions about the type, quality, and quantity of our unique wines and food products.
• Serve as a product influencer by providing expert advice and recommendations to guide customer selections and enhance their visit.
• Deliver a memorable, client-focused customer service experience, leveraging an outgoing and positive attitude to build brand loyalty.

Global E-Commerce and Retail Support

• Provide essential on-site retail support, facilitating the entire sales process from initial greeting to final purchase.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the winery’s retail business by dependably managing customer transactions and inquiries.

Digital Advertising Development

• Develop a deep knowledge of our product portfolio to effectively “advertise” and share the story of our wines with every customer.
• Contribute to sales goals through a hardworking, reliable, and adaptable approach to daily tasks and customer interactions.

Communication and Collaboration

• Utilize efficient interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and warmly with a diverse range of customers and team members.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere in our non-smoking environment.

Preferred Attributes

• No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or retail role.
• Possession of a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate is required.
• A quick learner with integrity, a positive attitude, and a strong sense of reliability.
• Must have own transportation to our Greenwich location.
• Applicants must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit.
