Job Summary
We are looking for a Plumbing Design Engineer with extensive experience in building projects. This role involves designing plumbing systems—including water supply, drainage, stormwater, and fire suppression—for commercial, residential, and institutional developments. You’ll play a critical role in delivering efficient, compliant, and sustainable plumbing designs.
Key Responsibilities
Design complete plumbing systems: water supply, drainage, stormwater, and fire protection systems.
Prepare design layouts, schematics, and detailed specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
Perform engineering calculations for pipe sizing, flow rates, and pressure losses.
Select equipment and components based on performance, code compliance, and efficiency.
Ensure designs meet international and local plumbing codes (IPC, NFPA, ASHRAE, etc.).
Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to maintain design integrity.
Support construction and project teams by addressing technical queries, reviewing submittals, and conducting site inspections when required.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
10–15 years of hands-on experience in plumbing design for building projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and plumbing calculation tools.
Strong understanding of international plumbing codes, sustainable design, and water conservation strategies.
Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
